RDR: AN INTRODUCTION

CONSUMER ASSESSMENT & MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Responsible Debt Relief Institute (RDR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the objective and empirical assessment of consumer debt capacity that provides the basis for innovative loan underwriting based on a net cash flow position of individuals and households.

RDR also serves as a clearing house for matching appropriate debt repayment programs based on household repayment capability. The RDR Institute works closely with commercial banks, credit unions, consumer credit counseling service organizations, partial payment debt resolution companies and bankruptcy practitioners to provide the most appropriate debt resolutions services based on consumer repayment capability.

The RDR Institute only refers consumers to service providers that the RDR Institute has evaluated and determined adheres to the best industry practices. The debt resolution services offered by the service providers that are approved affiliates include full payment debt management plans that are administered by CCCS providers, partial payment debt resolution companies that offer repayment plans through the RDR Responsible Choice Programs, again based on the empirical RDR assessment, as well as financial workouts and bankruptcy filings that are offered by approved bankruptcy counsel as informed by the RDR Net Cash-Flow System.

RDR service providers are committed to assisting financial institutions and their clients in offering the most appropriate financial services as well as assisting consumers with improving their financial management skills. All RDR service providers are actively engaged in offering a full range of educational and interactive personal finance programs. This educational system is guided by the research and pedagogy of Dr. Robert D. Manning. For more information on Dr. Manning please visit his website at CreditCardNation.com.

There are separate booklets on each of our programs with more detailed information and implementation steps. They are available from RDR by emailing info@responsibledebtrelief.org with a request.
